Getting from the airport on a budget
There is no metro at the airport. Trolleybus 59 connects to Nádraží Veleslavín (metro A) and bus 100 to Zličín (metro B). A 90-minute ticket costs 46 CZK in the PID Lítačka app or 50 CZK on paper and covers the transfer to metro. The Airport Express bus to the main station has a separate 200 CZK fare.

Boarding your first tram, bus or metro
Validate a paper ticket once before the first ride. Tickets bought from an onboard contactless terminal are valid immediately; app tickets must be activated before travel and include a protective countdown. The standard no-ticket surcharge is 2,000 CZK, reduced to 1,200 CZK when paid on the spot. Inspectors carry a badge and official carrier ID.

If you didn't buy a ticket in advance
Yellow contactless terminals in metro stations, trams and city buses sell a limited range of tickets. Choose the duration first, then pay by contactless card or phone. The printed ticket is valid immediately and must not be validated again. A 90-minute ticket costs 50 CZK and a 24-hour ticket 150 CZK at these terminals.
